2.1.10 Meaning of Revelation

Rael says the Book of Mormon is legitimate.
The Book of Mormon says about Revelation as follows.
*"Come unto me, O ye house of Israel, and it shall be made manifest unto you how great things the Father hath laid up for you, from the foundation of the world; and it hath not come unto you, because of unbelief.
Behold, when ye shall rend that veil of unbelief which doth cause you to remain in your awful state of wickedness, and hardness of heart, and blindness of mind, then shall the great and marvelous things which have been hid up from the foundation of the world from you--yea, when ye shall call upon the Father in my name, with a broken heart and a contrite spirit, then shall ye know that the Father hath remembered the covenant which he made unto your fathers, O house of Israel.
And then shall my revelations which I have caused to be written by my servant John be unfolded in the eyes of all the people. Remember, when ye see these things, ye shall know that the time is at hand that they shall be made manifest in very deed.
Therefore, when ye shall receive this record ye may know that the work of the Father has commenced upon all the face of the land.
Therefore, repent all ye ends of the earth, and come unto me, and believe in my gospel, and be baptized in my name; for he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned; and signs shall follow them that believe in my name" (Ether 4:14-18).

Then Rael mentions the meaning of Revelation as follows.
Revelation is the record of John's meeting with the Elohim in a spacecraft in which he saw images of nuclear wars.
First, John saw 7 bright spacecrafts and met an ET wearing a space suit.
*"Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength" (Rev 1:12-16).
Yahweh requested John to describe what he saw.
*"Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this" (Rev 1:19).
John saw an opened door of a spacecraft floating in the sky, John was taken to the inside of the spacecraft, and met Yahweh and his 24 colleagues.
*"After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, 'Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.' Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads" (Rev 4:1-4).
John saw simulated vision that might come true in the end time.
The vision of opened seals is vision of various disasters such as wars, famines, and diseases.
*"When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, 'Come and see.' So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, 'A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.' When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, 'Come and see.' So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth" (Rev 6:5-8).
The 6th opened seal is vision of a nuclear explosion.
*"I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains," (Rev 6:12-15).
The next disaster is nuclear wars. On the other hand, DNA codes of 144,000 chosen people should be registered from their foreheads, because the bone of forehead has the most accurate and perfect DNA. DNA codes of chosen people will be registered in the computer and these people will be resurrected to resume history of humans even when humans on the Earth perish in the nuclear wars.
*"Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, 'Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.' And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed:" (Rev 7:2-4).
The 7th opened seal is nuclear wars.
*"The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up. Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter. Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night" (Rev 8:7-12).
Wormwood is "Chernobyl" in Russian. (The Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant located in the north of present-day Ukraine.)
Locusts are airplanes with nuclear bombs. The radiation torments people.
*"Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man. In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them" (Rev 9:3-6).
"Abaddon" (Hebrew) and "Apollyon" (Greek) are referred to in Revelation 9:11 as the king of an army of locusts (or as the name of the angel of the bottomless pit). Abaddon (Hebrew) comes from Hebrew root "אבד" (ABD). "אבד" (ABD) means "perish" or "destroy." Other than that, "Abaddon" frequently appears in the Bible with "Sheol" (שאול) meaning "the place of dead," "grave," or "underworld." In addition, the motif of this part (Revelation 9) is nuclear war.
Then "Abaddon" and "Apollyon" (referred to in Revelation 9:11) correspond to "nuclear weapons."
*"The shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men. They had hair like women's hair, and their teeth were like lions' teeth. And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots with many horses running into battle. They had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails. Their power was to hurt men five months. And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon" (Rev 9:7-11).

Tails of the horse are nuclear missiles of a jet fighter.
*"And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone. By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm" (Rev 9:17-19).
John couldn't figure out the concept of airplane and nuclear missile.
John was told that humans on the Earth are same as the Elohim. However, it was forbidden to write.
*"Now when the seven thunders uttered their voices, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, 'Seal up the things which the seven thunders uttered, and do not write them'" (Rev 10:4).
"666" means the number of generations of humans on the Earth when nuclear weapons appear.
*"Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666" (Rev 13:18).
Humans on the Earth were created 13,000 years ago and on the assumption that 1 generation is 20 years, 666 generations amount to 13,330 years.
Then John was taken to the Elohim's planet on board the spacecraft. The spacecraft approached a city of the planet but John misunderstood that the city came down.
*"Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, 'Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away'" (Rev 21:1-4).
