Lost battles of France resulted in the disadvantageous Treaty of Paris (1763), debt, and financial difficulty of France.
Incompetent Louis XVI couldn't deal with the circumstances.
Louis XVI called the assembly of the Estate-General in 1789 CE composed of representatives of 3 classes (2 privileged classes: clergy and nobility, and the working class: common people). Harris' Gold-Silver Exchange in 1859 CE
Townsend Harris (1804 - 1878 CE) was born in New York in 1804 CE. He was a pious Anglicanism believer. He became a merchant between East Asia and the first Consul General to Japan in 1855 CE. He successfully negotiated the Treaty of Amity and Commerce between the USA and Japan in 1858 CE. He demanded the Gold-Silver exchange rate 1:4.65 based on the rate in Japan at the time. According to the accepted story, the American Civil War is attributed to conflicting interests between the Northern States and the Southern States. On the other hand, the Northern States of the USA based on domestic industrial goods such as machinery and iron associated with protective trade policy. Then 620,000 died. However, it sounds rather impulsive.

Contrary to that, according to the traditional conspiracy theory, the American Civil War is attributed to the Rothschilds' plan to split the USA into 2 minor powers that have to permanently borrow money from European bankers such as the Rothschilds. The USA had to be splitted to be weakened taking advantage of the confrontation between the Northern States and the Southern States. Both the Northern States and the Southern States had to be exhausted.
However, the Northern States and Lincoln were unexpectedly tough and Lincoln issued paper currency ignoring European bankers in 1862 CE that was not backed by gold or silver, backed by only the credibility of the US government.

The American Civil War bore excess firearms. The excess firearms were gathered in Shanghai and Jardine Matheson & Co. dealt in the firearms.

Nikola Tesla is a Serbian inventor. Tesla was born in 1856 CE in Austria Empire (later Croatia). When Nikola was 5 years old, his older brother died, Nikola started to see flashes and visions. Nikola purportedly frequently suffered seeing flashes and some visions associated with new ideas and invention. For example, his weird autobiography chapter 1 "My Early Life" states as follows.
"There was another and still more important reason for my late awakening. In my boyhood I suffered from a peculiar affliction due to the appearance of images, often accompanied by strong flashes of light, which marred the sight of real objects and interfered with my thought and action. They were pictures of things and scenes which I had really seen, never of those I imagined. When a word was spoken to me the image of the object it designated would present itself vividly to my vision and sometimes I was quite unable to distinguish whether what I saw was tangible or not. This caused me great discomfort and anxiety."
According to his autobiography, the visions were quite detailed, making the detailed visions real became his invention.
Tesla started working for Continental Edison Company in France from 1882 CE. Tesla moved to New York to work for Edison Machine Works in 1884 CE. However, Tesla and Edison got into trouble about payment and Tesla resigned in 1885 CE.
Despite such context, it is said that they founded the secret society Plus Ultra aiming a Utopia through geniuses' talent and righteous ambitions during the Exposition mediated by Eiffel.
